Ian M. Whittle

Fredericksburg, Virginia

Originally from Georgia, Ian graduated summa cum laude from Emory University with a double major in History and Latin American Studies.  Ian then attended George Mason School of Law, where he specialized in litigation and served as Board Member for the Moot Court Board and the Trial Advocacy Association.

During his time at George Mason, Ian also interned for Chief Judge Dennis Smith of the Circuit Court of Fairfax County.  He graduated magna cum laude, at which time he had already tried over 100 cases in the courts of Stafford County as an intern for the Fredericksburg Office of the Public Defender.

He then accepted an offer to return to trial work as an Assistant Public Defender in Fredericksburg.  In that capacity he tried numerous cases to jury verdict and maintained a stellar reputation for both courtroom advocacy and client satisfaction.

Wishing to dedicate more time to each individual client, Ian left public service and joined the firm.  He has handled everything from speeding tickets to life felonies. He will give you the individual attention you deserve and work with you through every step of your case.
